Our favorite Aussie babe finally snagged an Emmy! After being nominated in the same category back in 2012, the second time’s the charm for Nicole Kidman as she was hailed this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or a Television Movie for her brilliant portrayal of abused wife Celeste Wright in HBO’s hit series Big Little Lies. 

Dressed in Calvin Klein from head to toe, the A-lister was the epitome of glam in her vampy red frock and tousled hairdo. She thanked her husband Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday and Faith in her acceptance speech; and while it was undoubtedly sweet and most certainly tear-inducing for some, the highlight of the night was a wholly different scenario: as Big Little Lies co-star and onscreen husband Alexander Skarsgard headed to the stage to accept his Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a Television Movie, he stopped by Nicole first and the two proceeded to share a brief—but clearly passionate—peck on the lips. Suprising? Definitely! Especially with good ol’ Keith right behind them watching!

We’re not quick to judge, as this onscreen couple has shared waaaay more than that in the series. And we’re pretty sure the country cooner is cool with it, too. We really hope so.
