Cynthia’s Spring runway show entitled “Prim and Improper” emphasized charming artisan details like embroidery, delicate ribbon ties and dressmaker flowers, combining a flirty pastel palette and sensuous 60’s boss nova styling. There were dance-hall dresses with twisted knotty straps, effortlessly layered separates in diaphanous sheers, and even color-blocked sportswear in soft hues – all perfect for any Downtown Girl with a sweet side.
