"I want my name to be associated with making women feel feminine, hip and confident," says Cynthia Vincent, designer and co-owner of Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. During her formal training at Otis Parsons School of Design, Cynthia won the 1988 Silver Thimble Award from Ann Cole. Upon graduating, Cynthia moved to London, where she quickly rose to head designer of Jane Ong & Co., Ltd. Eventually Cynthia returned to California, starting her own company, St. Vincent. Cynthia's designs would soon be found in better specialty and department stores throughout the U.S., Asia and the Pacific Rim. In 1998, Cynthia won L.A.'s Rising Star Award.
