A Grown up Sports Bar with surprisingly sophisticated Oprah-worthy décor and a burger the best burger in Chicago.

Admittedly this is a boys place—Antler chandeliers and 50” Flat Screens will tell you that much, but it has a surprisingly swanky twist. The guys may not realize it, but Oprah has her fabulous hands on this sports bar via the magic of her personal decorator Nate Carden. Nate added antique gilded frames around the man-flat screens, sleek lines and contemporary art throughout to show off the converted-wherehouse feel of this North Shore gem.

The menu is a salute to modern American dining at its finest with plates like their famous Kobe Beef Burger with Truffle Fries. At Sunday brunch goers can nurse the hangover over a delicious Breakfast Burrito, Foie Nut Butter and Jelly Toast (a twist on the classic PB & J) or homemade Toasted Granola with vanilla yogurt and fruit. Another ingenious Rockit invention? The roll-by “Bloody Mary Cart” says it all.

At night things heat up at the grill, where handsome guys hold handsome drinks and a seat at the bar becomes choice real estate. Following the namesake, Rockit plays guy-friendly-faves from the Classic Rock list, but who cares with all the choice testosterone to choose from?

Seven days a week 11:30am – 1:30am (2:30am on Saturdays) & Sunday Brunch 10:30am-4pm

Polished but casual looks swank at the Rockit Bar and Grill, especially when Tyson Beckford is visiting. Pair chic high-waisted jeans with a polka-dot silk blouse, cognac bag and some jewels.
