Quattro Gastronomia Italiana serves authentic Northern Italian Cuisine, closely adhering to traditional methods of preparation and using only the finest ingredients imported from Italy. In addition to an extensive menu of Northern specialties by identical 29-year-old twin chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro, who are cooking for the first time in the United States, Quattro features monthly tasting menus that highlight the food and wine from a particular region of Italy. The perky chefs have just arrived from the province of Alessandria in the Piemonte region of Italy and are currently sourcing specialty food providers and markets to select the best Italian ingredients available as everything from basics like salt and flour to Mediterranean fish and specialty cheeses will be imported directly from Italy. Splurge on the Burrata Mozzarella—it’s flown in from Italy.

For parking: park at the Michigan Avenue garage and walk down to Lincoln Road and walk toward the theaters, it'll be on your left side.

Dinner served nightly, walk-ins are “welcome” but the ultra-hip atmosphere means Quattro staff serve an infamous side of snooty with their meals so reservations are the smart way to go.

The celebrity studded restaurant has a casual dress code but you can cut the “be seen” atmosphere with a knife. A mixed crowd of legitimate foodies, young trust funders and baby-boomers makes up the eclectic crowd.
