In a space that has held some of the city's most legendary venues, the Plumm lives up to the hype and continues to be a glitzy hit with downtown club-hoppers and A-listers alike. And who wouldn't want to spend their weekend or weeknight here for that matter with surprise performances on any given night by musical heavyweights and fellow club goers like John Legend, Nora Jones, Axel Rose of Guns & Roses, and Run DMC. The newly transformed club is home to Lindsey Lohan's best friend and partner in crime (Samantha Ronson) as house deejay, so you know the music is always on point.

The Plumm was originally hyped as semi-private, rest assured that as long as you arrive with your gal pals, the only piece of plastic you'll need here is a handy credit card. The bottle list is almost as long as the list of celeb-investors, which include Chris, "Mr. Big" Noth, and supermodel Petra Nemacova. Although The Plumm lacks a designated dance floor the plum-colored and wood-paneled main room features banquettes that are designed to resist even the sharpest Louboutin heels. The long bar rarely sees a break during crowded nights, but you'll find a more intimate scene downstairs if that's the vibe you're going for.

If theme parties are your thing stop by on Tuesday nights to check out the "Trashion" party, complete with a Glam crowd, and equally Glam-vintage tunes from the '60s, '70s, and '80s.

Looking good is beyond essential at The Plumm as the semiprivate club is not only swarming with glamorous celebrities but also bestows special keys to members so they can get in without waiting. Lindsay Lohan was recently spotted partying with best friend and rumored girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, wearing a black a white sweater dress. To grab her look, try slipping into Zoa's chic Sweater dress and adding sparkle with layered baubles.
