Pink's Hotdogs

A bizarrely perpetual line snakes outside this famous L.A. landmark. Who knows where all the hot dog enthusiasts come from but they point the way to the best snack in the city.

WHO: Running into a celeb at Pink's is so easy that TMZ literally installed a web cam (not joking) to catch celebs chowing down! Even the godfather of fashion himself, Karl Lagerfeld, has approved Pink's along with a bevy of talent including, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Molly Sims, Martha Stewart, Celine Dion, Snoop Dogg, Jay Leno, Rob Lowe, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Carol Burnett, Mike Ditka, Jamie Lee Curtis, Laurence Fishburne, Lionel Ritchie, Bill Cosby, Lily Tomlin, Jason Priestly, Ellen DeGeneres and many more.

This little hot dog stand that opened in 1939 has become a treasured Los Angeles legend. While it is hard to find a time when the line doesn't wrap around the corner, Pink's is still, after all these years, the place to get your anytime hot dog fix. Try the legendary chili cheese dog (what Pink's is known for), or be adventurous and give one of the other 21 choices a chance.

The walls inside are lined with signed celeb headshots, some signed twice for good Pink-measure. Celeb-named versions of their hotdogs are usually named after the star themselves. The “Martha Stewart Dog” features mustard, relish, onions, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut, bacon, and sour cream. Other names include, the "Rosie O'Donnell Long Island Dog", the "Huell Howser Dog" while the "Ozzy Spicy Dog" is named for Pink mumbler, Ozzy Osbourne.

The clientele here ranges from big families to fashionistas to businessmen, and the late hours mean that this is the perfect place to indulge your hunger after leaving, say, S Bar. Go ahead, we won’t tell the paparazzi.

Pink's is open Sunday through Thursday from 9:30am to 2am, and Friday through Saturday from 9:30am to 3am.

Roll over in whatever you feel like... it is a hot dog stand after all. Some comfy shorty, a soft tee and some shades are a good start for Pink lover's.
