MyHouse

The exterior of David Judaken's new club MyHouse on La Brea Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard. The lounge, formerly Garden of Eden, was designed by Dodd Mitchell proves there's no place like home... at least not like this one. Looking like Z Gallerie on zee krack (mock croc-embossed black bars, microsuede couches, leather chairs in every shade of beige, plushy pillows, shag carpet and virtually no lighting), this sprawling 10,000-square-foot pad is bringing the idea of the "house party" to the club-seeking masses. Disguised as a state-of-the-art home, the kitchen doubles as the main bar (yes, that's a stainless steel refrigerator the bartender's pulling from), the enormous living room is a sunken lounge (which becomes an after-hours dance floor) and the second floor bedroom is the unofficial VIP area (king size bed with black leather headboard, faux mink duvet and skull table lamps included). There's also the outdoor patio with fireplaces, cabana-like booths and even a Jacuzzi for those adventurous--or drunk--enough to splash things up.

MyHouse, although having been open for quite some time now, still serves as a den of debauchery for Hollywood's elite. Celebs flock here, and the DJ's are always top notch. Make no mistake, the club is huge - we're definitely not in Teddy's territory here, kids. The thing about MyHouse is that it always guarantees a fun night out. And for those late night drunken hunger pangs, Los Angeles' infamous "street meat" (aka bacon wrapped hot dogs) are grilled up fresh on the patio of the club and served as the crowd is starting to leave. Don't miss the fresh baked cookies from the kitchen, either!

It's all about Friday nights. The Alliance is at the door, making it one of the toughest nights to get in, but once you are... it is oh so worth it. Another fun night is Thursdays, as MyHouse has been promoting "House Thursdays" recently, as the DJ plays only house music to get the crowd going.

Your hottest outfit, hands down. Think tight bandage skirts with sheer blouses and neon bras, or shredded denim with low-cut tanks and feathered headbands. The more OTT the better.
