A dazzling steakhouse rich in history and ambiance, Gibson's Bar & Steakhouse prides itself on living up to its reputation of a classic American steakhouse offering a true big city dining experience. WHO: Gibsons has a long reputation for drawing celebrities – it is housed in the same space as the famous Mr. Kelley's, where Streisand and Sinatra loved to perform. Don't miss the endless wall of photos wrapping the stairwell, where you can trace the steakhouse's history pictorially where autographed photographs of athletes, politicians, movie stars, rock stars, entertainers of all kinds, and of course the diehard Gibsons “locals” appear.

You can still smell a waft of rich cigars smoked by Chicago's most famous political and entrepreneurial elite throughout the location's many decades and evolutions of service. Reservations are a must, and even then you may face a short wait at the bar. Gibson's is open for lunch 11am-3pm and dinner 3pm-12am, although the bar is open from 11am until 2am closing time.
