Many Moroccan restaurants play into the cliche with low tables and amateurish belly dancing, but Aziza has a sophisticated approach: Diners can choose a Western-style table, often tucked back into a romantic cubbyhole, or one of the more traditional dining rooms. Chef-owner Mourad Lahlou modernizes his native Moroccan cuisine, giving even the long-cooked dishes a fresh and organic perspective. Diners can order a la carte, although the five-course tasting menu is the best deal and shows off Lahlou's culinary talents.

In addition to being known for their authentic food, Aziza is also quickly gaining a following for their specialty cocktails,including the fleur de sel rimmed Almond Margarita, Balsamic Morocco Mary, and Cucumber Fresca Martini.

You're tired of Italian food, not in the mood for French, and a hamburger just won't cut it, Aziza serves up the most exotic food in the city Wednesday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm.
