Rock Paper Scissors's Biography

Started in 2007, Rock Paper Scissors is the creation of husband and wife Amy DiLaMarra and Will Sawyer. Amy is a former costumer who spent several years doing illustration and concept design for independent clients such as Badgley Mischka, ESQ, and Zalemark. Will is a computer geek by trade (also an artist, music enthusiast and record collector).

The whimsy of Rock Paper Scissors reflects the nature of their relationship, which the couple describes as "playing well together." Wills' travels to places like Africa, where his mother grew up, influence a group of gold safari animals on pendants and leather cuffs. Vintage images of Coco Chanel draped lavishly in chunky chain or the bangles stacked indulgently up the arms of Diana Vreeland inspire Amy in the look of these pieces.

The mix of quirky, costumey and vintage come together to create pieces are distinctive, even attention grabbing but are also easily wearable. RPS's rapidly expanding line also includes a large selection of belts both skinny and wide. They keep the vintage feeling with buckles and hardware that are custom designed and cast for RPS.

RPS jewelry and belts are all made in the USA from the most unique and highest quality Italian leathers available. Jewelry molds are hand carved by the companies' talented mold maker, and are plated in 14k gold and Nickel.
