Rebecca Norman Jewelry's Biography

Rebecca Norman is known for her unique, limited - production jewelry, hand crafted locally at her Solana Beach studio. Her modern, down-to-earth chic is the result of an adventurous spirit and vast global life experiences. Of Australian heritage, Rebecca grew up in Taiwan, where at an early age she developed an interest in jewelry. After moving to the States in 1985, Rebecca earned a degree in jewelry fabrication and goldsmithing. Rebecca Norman Inc. was formed in 1995 as a creative outlet for Rebecca to express her innovative and modern jewelry designs.

Natural materials are the starting point for all RN designs. In addition to designing pieces made of sterling silver and 18kt. gold vermeil, Rebecca also combines precious gemstones and vivid beading into her jewelry designs. Shell, bone, rubies, and turquoise are just a few of the natural materials utilized by Rebecca to infuse life and originality into all of her jewelry designs. In Rebecca’s opinion, the beauty of her jewelry comes from “its mix of classic simplicity and modern detailing.”
