Designers to Work with Sainsbury's
Supermarket chain Sainsbury's today announced it had teamed up with three designers to add to its non-food range.
Sir Terence Conran has been recruited to design a kitchen and cookware collection, florist-to-the-stars Orlando Hamilton has produced a range of cut flowers and arrangements, and fashion designer Orla Kiely has added home accessories, greeting cards and stationery.
The new products will sell in more than 200 stores from October under the name "By".
Richard Cristofoli, head of non-food marketing and development at Sainsbury's, said: "This signals the next exciting step in our non-food strategy and we are delighted to be teaming up with such a fantastic group of designers...
Orla Kiely, one of London's leading fashion designers who is known for her signature prints, said: "I am very excited to be working on By. It has given me the opportunity to bring my vision, style and colour into the homes of Britain." Read More…
