Oliver Peoples’ South Coast Plaza retail store celebrated its first week of business with a grand opening celebration the evening of April 7, attracting nearly 300 people from Los Angeles and Orange County. The cocktail reception, held in the ultra-hip new store, also previewed Oliver Peoples’ new brand Mosley Tribes as well as styles from the Oliver Peoples and Paul Smith Spectacles Autumn/Winter 2005 collections. Oliver Peoples partnered with the Lighthouse Guild to donate a percentage of its South Coast Plaza store sales from April 7-10 to the Olive Crest Abused Children’s Foundation.

The excitement created by the new store’s design and the grand opening party has been tremendous,” said Oliver Peoples President Bill Barton. The South Coast Plaza store, which opened April 2, is Oliver Peoples’ second California location and fourth boutique in the United States.
