Color is making a splash for Spring/Summer 05. Plastics will include Ambrosia and Horn, gorgeous shades infused with an opulent metallic sheen. Watch for new tonal frames, plastics that fade from a deep orange to translucent orange and from dark pink to translucent pink.
After a few seasons fi nally come new additions to the double bridge OPX metal frames. Fans of the legendary Aero with fall hard for the four new shapes in this category. The ever popular OPX lenses will adorn two new plastic sporty wrap shapes as well.
As for those sassy glamour-loving fashionsistas out there, they will have even more 70’s oversized plastic styles to look forward to, as well as new sophisticated oversized metal frames. Inspired by the super popular LaDonna shape, come two titanium frames, a thick modern titanium design and an ultra-thin, ultra-feminine pillow shape that exudes hippie chic.

Remaining true to its roots, Oliver Peoples designs remain classic, fusing old–world aesthetics with modern day technology. When asked what his inspiration was for the collection Co-founder and Chief Designer, Larry Leight declared, “I wanted to honor our heritage in pulling from our archive. Materials such as titanium metal and super thin zyl bring a modern lustrous feel to these otherwise enduringly excellent pieces. The bold optical designs of last season will be replaced by a collection of streamlined and lightweight frames.
