Nyovee's Biography

Nyovee's multi-ethnic background includes Greek, Irish, and Cherokee Indian roots.

Born to an immigrant teenage mother in Nyack, NY, Nyovee was raised in Poughkeepsie, NY.

With the sudden death of her mother at the age of fourteen she left to live in Thessaloniki, Greece with her grandparents.

Nyovee began modeling shortly after returning to New York in the mid 90’s. After three years of living in New York, she decided to take her modeling career to the west coast where she appeared in several movies, magazine ads, commercials and television shows.

Her creations have been featured in movies like Confidence, Harsh Times and magazines including Women’s Wear Daily’s Ultimate Accessories, Vogue Hellas, Max and Sense Japan, Details, Blender, Vanity Fair, Flaunt, Venus, Razor In Touch Weekly and GQ to name a few. Celebrities including Julia Roberts, Sarah McLachlan, Usher, Jennifer Aniston, Hilary Swank, Eva Longoria, Nicole Kidman, Colin Ferrell, Kevin Bacon, David Beckham, Madonna, Dina Eastwood, Marcia Gay-Hardin and Kim Basinger have worn Nyovee’s designs.
