Nour's Biography

Nour - meaning light or enlightenment is designed by Mersedeh Nourbakhsh, an Industrial Designer by trade and former consultant to brands Kate Spade and Coach.

Seeing a void in the market for affordable quality vintage sunglasses and inspired by the style of her mother when she was mersedeh's age, Ms Nourbakhsh created a line of quality vintage inspired sunglasses that is both sophisticated and playful.

"I did not want the scratched up $10 flea market finds and could not afford the good quality vintage Courreges and Yves Saint Laurent frames. I saw this as a challenge to start my own line." says Ms Nourbakhsh.

Nour is a tribute to ageless style, confidence and a great sense of humor. Each frame is handcrafted and interpreted in a variety of square and round shapes. Lenses are available in solid or gradient tints and are of the highest quality 100% UVA and UVB protection.
