Narciso Rodriguez was born in New Jersey in 1961 to Cuban parents. He studied at Parsons School of Design in New York, and upon graduation worked for design powerhouses such as Anne Klein, TSE, Calvin Klein and Cerruti. His women's ready-to-wear signature collection debuted in Spring 1998 in Milan, and made it into virtually every major fashion magazine.
