Biography of Wendy Darling

Wendy Darling began when guitarist Nate Heller placed in ad in search of a stellar female vocalist with a commanding stage presence. Cori Rush replied to the ad and drove down to Ocean Beach, California to meet him. When she left, Nate knew he had found his front-woman. The two had an instant musical chemistry and began furiously writing songs. Over the course of the next year Wendy Darling developed into a four piece band with the addition of Hector Verdugo on drums and Jon Freeman on bass and keyboards. The band has continued to expand it's palette with the addition of instruments like glockenspiel, melodica, accordion and banjo. They began work on their first studio album in August, 2007.
