The cheeky yet chic, Moschino Cheap and Chic Fall 2011 collection displayed a quirky look laden with hearts, bows, ruffles, and bold print lettering. Among the off-beat pieces were gorgeously cut slouchy pants, fitted cardigans, and wool coats that put together a well-balanced collection.
Franco Moschino, born outside Milan, Italy in 1950, dedicated his life to creating fashion. He attended the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Brera, Milan, where he developed his skills in design and fashion illustration.
Moschino's sister line, Moschino Cheap and Chic debuted in 1988 with the same point of being fun and eclectic fashion. The creations celebrate color, with an energetic palette of yellows, pinks, and greens. Quirky details such as pailettes and ruffles are expected on flirty day dresses and well-constructed tweed jackets.
