Celebrity Style Blog:
Eva's Multicultural Family Plans

Eva Longoria stepped out on August 15 to do some shopping with her new mother-in-law as the pair hit up Fred Segal and Gas Boutique in West Hollywood before heading to Ralph's to pick up some groceries. Wearing a cute blue dress (similar to Plenty by Tracy Reese's Halter Cami Dress in Indigo and Ella Moss' Astrid Ring Dress in Navy) with sky-high wedges and a huge python bag (check out Carla Mancini's Python Clutch for a clutch version of Eva's bag), Eva looked classic and stylish as always. Now that she and hubby Tony Parker have been married for a few months, they are already planning to add new members to their family. And not just any new members- the happy couple's children will be trilingual according to Eva! Eva and Tony plan on teaching their kids English, Spanish and French right away, so that they can imbue their individual backgrounds into their children's experience. I'm just imagining the day far in the future when Eva and Tony and their kids are making pancakes on a Sunday morning- talk about an international house!

Style Tip: Cold Feet

There aren't too many experiences as painful as breaking in a fabulous new pair of heels. The lengths we, the fashion-obsessed, will go to flaunt foot accoutrement are unknown to man (literally). This week's Style Tip is an ingenious approach to stretching snug pumps so your toes will be as happy as a new shoe purchase.

The crazier, the better, as fashion secrets go and this one is no exception. Attempt at your own risk. Fill a small Ziploc™ bag halfway with water. Seal the bag inside another bag securely making sure neither leak. Put the bags inside one shoe. Repeat for the other shoe and put the pair in the freezer to freeze. The water in the bags will expand slightly stretching the shoes along the way. Now your shoes are slightly roomier and hopefully much more comfortable.

Designer of the Week:
Ella Moss

Los Angeles native and Ella Moss designer extraordinaire, Pamella Protzel has always possessed an innate sense of design. Fascinated by everything fashion, Pamella would spend hours as a teen browsing Parisian flea markets and the posh boutiques of Beverly Hills. Her love of art led her to a Graphic design emphasis at the Pasadena College Art Center for Design. She soon returned to her first love of fashion and attended FIDM after wardrobe stylists insisted on borrowing Pamella's homemade designs.

Relying on intuition instead of technicalities, Pamella chooses to design by feel rather than rules. Her experimental style has led to signature Ella Moss pieces like the stripe series, a sublime reinterpretation of a comfy tee into a casual yet elegant dress.

With its effortlessly cool attitude and ultra-soft fabrics, Ella Moss has collected quite the celebrity following including, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwen Stefani, Hillary duff, Heidi Klum, Scarlett Johansson, and Liv Tyler. The line is also regularly featured in fashion publications including InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Glamour, Vogue, Elle, Jane, Lucky, Glamour and the like.
