Silk. It does a body good.

Being a girl can be tough work. Waxing, plucking and oh yeah, creating LIFE!  Being first off the Titanic only goes so far, people.

Luckily, there is a savior to level the gender balance. Michele Dahan is the creatively driven designer for the ultra-feminine and luxurious line, Gold Hawk (and the wife of Tag Jeans mastermind, Orly Dahan).  Michele has an incurable affinity for combining sultry textures with gorgeous color palettes. Lace, ruffles, delicious silks and immaculate detailing collide in a flurry of delicate fabrics that make you glad you’re a woman.

From intricate lacy dresses to sexy silk camisoles, Gold Hawk has been dubbed “THE designer to wear on a first date” for its irresistible charm and casual versatility.  Our stylists love Gold Hawk because it’s classic, comfortable and easy (not that you are…ahem).

So next time Mr. Right (or even Mr. Why Not) calls, know that you have exactly the thing to wear. Besides, a little lace and silk never hurt anyone's chances.

Stylist Tip: More Poised and Elegant

What makes everyone look slimmer, younger, taller and overall more poised and elegant -- all for free? Perfect posture of course! Standing like a ballerina makes everyone look gorgeous and it's healthy for your body too. People with good posture have less stress and back problems.

A tip for checking your posture? Imagine a plumb line (or Vanna White earring circa 1980) dropped from your earlobe to the floor, it should align with your ankle bone. You can check this throughout your day in your reflection while you’re normally checking out your hot self. Next, lengthen the distance between your navel and collarbone by lifting the breastbone toward the ceiling. Always imagine yourself leading with your heart, not your head.

For standing photographs, stand tall and raise your chin slightly. Hold your arms slightly bent and away from your torso (think Miss America). Angle your legs and torso so they aren’t photographed straight on and soon the camera will be your new best friend!
