Talk about life imitating art! As celebutante extraordinaires Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie stepped out of Paris' West Hollywood home holding hands and dressed to the nines. It was obvious that the reason they were being so friendly to the hoards of paparazzi was because they were filming the new season of their massively successful reality show, "The Simple Life 5". The "scene" was supposed to be the paparazzi going crazy over the girls, when in fact, they really were! With Nicole wearing a flowing coral dress by Chloe; and Paris wore a metallic floral dress with a gold ring on her finger, the troublsesome two were definitely eating up every minute of filming! It is great to see the girls together again like the old days. The last season of "Simple Life" definitely wasn't the same without them together!

STYLE TIP: Fashion Update: Color is Back!

Color has been popping up everywhere and in the most unexpected places: neon pouts, bright bubble dresses and funky sunglasses. It seems the backlash from 2006's monochromatic-edict is more like a Tidal Wave of Wham!-esque color. Part early 90's neon (remember Rollerblades?), part 80's glam, plus a dash of influence from the ultra-fresh Nordic regions (Swedish culture run amuck a'la The Knife) and of course a swelling tide of Mod palettes, courtesy of the British fashion revival, has set the stage for a color explosion.

There are three key ways to ways to rock the hues but pretty much anything goes.

1. The Kaleidoscope - For the bravest of fashion freaks, pile on every bright color you own and act like clashing your color is the coolest shiz since Tab and Velcro.
2. The Brushstroke - Wear one huge dose of color against a subdued canvas. Try layering a poppy red tunic over slate grey leggings and monochrome platform shoes. Let the color be your accessory and leave the jewelry at home. Perfect for making a bold evening statement.
3. The Experiment - Pepper your ordinary ensemble with exhilarating dashes of color. Choose neon green shades, a tangerine lipstick, cerulean blue eyeliner or a brilliant bag. Add with confidence and let fun guide the way!

DESIGNER OF THE WEEK: WILEN LOS ANGELES

Designer Brooke Wilen discovered her natural talent for knitting gorgeous original pieces while pursuing a film career in Hollywood.

She began knitting unique designs and wearing them on set where she received countless request for custom pieces, many times from costume designers. Following her creative passion, Brooke set out to launch Wilen Los Angeles in Fall 2006 to the delight of fashionistas everywhere!

Staying true to her start, the collection is entirely made of knits and only the finest and most luxurious Italian yarns. Brooke finds inspiration in vintage pieces and flea market finds while keeping the line effortless, luxurious and comfortable.
