California is notorious for far more than hot chicks and Hollywood. It is also the new home of the fastest growing breed in the fashion industry – the denim designer. Since its conception in the spring of 2001, the Joe’s jean label has covered the glamorous booties of celebrity hotties from east to west. Now, in an attempt to outdo themselves and raise the bar for the one item as American as apple pie, the company has launched a premium denim line currently in its sophomore season.
Sticking to the crowd-pleasing “eight basic fits to suit every body,” this line features couture touches such as embroidery, contrasting top stitching and vintage aging worthy of Lenny Kravitz, to attract even the most die-hard denim fans. However, don’t start saving your $242 to $275 just yet. With every pair hand finished and in limited release, there is no guarantee that you will be the coolest kid on the block or, for that matter, the poorest.
