Last December during the holiday shopping season I was in Bloomingdales. Searching through racks of designer jeans the sales girl says, “You should try these; they fit so well, especially if you have curves like us.” Us being the sexily hippy (at least I think so). I can remember going through a stage in which, for about a year during high school (way back when, before there were a plethora of designer jeans available, or at least before they became affordable to me) I refused to wear jeans. Why? Because I couldn’t find any that fit the way I wanted them to. Now, with myriads of fits, lengths, and styles, there is a pair of jeans for everyone. If I’d discovered the “Rocker” fit by Joe’s, I might have been persuaded to abandon my boycott.
