IISLI

IISLI is a modern knitwear collection for women featuring a simple, clean aesthetic and rich colors and textures. The word IISLI is a combination of the designers’ two names; Nelson (the Li) and Sisi (the IIS) and speaks to the unique design collaboration that produced the brand. Sisi contributes her creative vision and remarkable eye for clean classic designs while Nelson’s expertise with textiles and knits generates the luxurious and unique fabrics for which ISILI is famous. Through this collaboration, IISLI offers a one-of-a-kind pairing of comfort and luxury.

Sisi Li arrived in New York at the age of 17, making her start in the fashion world working in operations at an apparel company. Gifted with a unique creative vision, Sisi rapidly advanced in the fashion world, working as a design consultant and creating her own menswear brand, Front. Sisi’s vision for a comfortable yet sophisticated women’s wear collection led her to create IISLI. Each piece in the collection bears Sisi’s signature, incorporating her easy, luxurious approach to style.

Nelson Li started his fashion career in Italy, working as a design consultant for various textile firms and organizations, including the famous textile tradeshow Pitti Filati. Nelson creates each fabric for IISLI himself, starting with fine Italian yarns and threads and then developing the intricate knitwear patterns that create IISLI’s trademark designs.
