But for longtime friends Selma Blair and her design partner, Karen Zambos, an intimate girls night out at the eternally hip Chateau Marmont in L.A. was more their style. "It's beautiful here and perfect for a small get-together without a major to-do. I'm not much of a hostess!" said Blair, though she was busy making sure everyone felt at home. "This is just like hanging out in my living room," said Chateau regular Nicole Richie, "but out-side, dressed up and in heels."
