With over ten years of experience in the fashion industry, Karen Zambos has created a unique line of vintage inspired belts. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Karen Zambos moved to Los Angeles where she became a buyer and creative stylist for the Tracey Ross boutique and where she quickly realized that women wanted to feel comfortable while looking chic and stylish. Inspired by the originality and comfort of vintage designs, she began to remodel vintage clothing, beginning with antique slips which she hand-dyed and sold at Tracey Ross. With the launch of Elegantly Waisted, her career as a designer quickly took off and she started the Karen ZAMBOS clothing line. Using textures and fabrics reminiscent of her favorite flea market finds, the collection remains true to her roots as a vintage clothing re-designer.
