Zackman graduated from the University of Michigan with her bachelors in communication but moved back to her hometown of West Orange, New Jersey to pursue her real dream of creating her own jewelry design business. Within two years, her jewelry was beginning to sell in top boutiques throughout the country and then quickly took off when a necklace from her spring 2005 collection was styled with an Oscar de la Renta gown on the cover of Town and Country. Since then, Danielle Stevens Jewelry has been featured consistently in InStyle, International Vogue, Lucky, People Stylewatch, Real Simple, and Redbook. And besides the tremendous amount of editorial attention, celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Connie Britton, and Stacy Keibler have all become huge fans of the line.
