The patterns are the highpoint of the new collection. With autumn breezes and the chill of winter as the excuse, jerseys and blouses have become more sophisticated in cut and are more three-dimensional in look, with billowing folds and gussets. The sleeves floating out from the forearm call to mind the costumes of medieval stories. Backs are revealed by tops tied at the nape of the neck and by clothing with a deep v-shaped plunge at the back. The skirts swirl and swing due to the folds, broad pleats and gathers that emerge at the hips. The skirts do up with large buttons or ribbons or wrap over like sarongs. The miniskirts are flared or swirl like a speed skater's skirt. The dresses draw their inspiration from the Sixties or play at deceiving the eye, seeming to be what they are not; a T-shirt with pleated skirt, a long skirt, a sheath skirt with blouse, all in a single item.
The ultra new drain pipe trousers have back pockets with flaps and are available in almost every fabric in the collection. The leggings- a second skin- and straight cut trousers now holdsway over boot-cut trousers, whose bell-bottoms have been tucked away, awaiting other times. Coats, jackets, biker jackets and mountain anoraks are dotted with zips and sports details, and share the lime light with very feminine items with a childlike look: short coats with shirt collar or lapels, tailored jackets in retro and chic proportions, and padded jackets in eye-catching velvet and countless other fabrics.
