The sweetness of Corey Lynn Calter could win over the hearts of any woman. Through combining the creativity of a busy New York Village street, and the relaxed attitude of the City of Angels, Calter has created an ensemble all that grasp. Her main focus is layering, (a personal favourite of mine) and contrasting complementary colours. Pretty florals and vivid patterns caught the eye on every garment. A cute and whimsical chicken printed silk top and olive pleated trouser with a faux fur collar was a perfect display of Calter's child-like sophistication. This was one of the most inspringing and wearable collections I had seen this entire week. Bravo to Calter for keeping the consumer's ideas in perspective, while infusing their own creativity.
