Here’s your chance to check in with hot hotel heiress Nicky Hilton and steal a whole bunch of those tiny shampoo bottles while she’s not looking.

You can tell a lot about Nicky Hilton just by looking at her cell phone—it’s an old, beat-up Samsung with a faded Hello Kitty sticker. The hotel heiress could not only buy a BlackBerry 7750, she could also probably buy out the company. But that’s not her style. Unlike her omnipresent sister, Paris, Nicky is happy working stealthily behind the scenes. “I’m the shy one,” she says. “I’m very shy when all the attention is on me.”

Like it or not, the attention was like a glaring prison spotlight when she got married in August. Her wedding in Las Vegas—which happened right after she’d been partying at a Stuff bash—was international news. For Nicky, the attention was baffling, shocking and kind of weird. “Maybe I was just being naive, but I did not expect it to be such a big deal,” she says. She’s hoping that all of a sudden, interest in her will chill and she’ll be able to return to her regularly scheduled life as a fashionista. (She designs the new clothing line Chick, and her handbags are popular with Bijou Phillips and Lindsay Lohan.) But during our interview at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills, her junky cell won’t stop ringing.
