About the Designer

Founder and designer Brooke Wilen began hand knitting over 10 years ago as a hobby. After college Wilen began a career in the film industry in her hometown of Los Angeles. On the job Wilen would often wear pieces of her own design. She received so many requests for custom pieces, most often from costume designers, that she decided to change her career path and start her own clothing line. Inspired by vintage designs and flea market finds, Wilen put out her first full collection for Fall 2006. Wilen has stayed true to her roots by keeping the line entirely knit. Each piece is constructed on a knitting machine and made from only the finest and most luxurious Italian yarns.
