WIGGIN' OUT!

Looking a little flustered, Jessica Simpson touches down at LAX in Los Angeles on December 5, back from a week in NYC supporting baby sis Ashlee as she began her Broadway run in Chicago as the sensational Roxie. Jess didn't look too happy to return to LA, only to find the gloomy weather is just as bad as NYC this week! Jess was escorted to her car with the help of a security guard, as she made her way through the airport in a cozy lumberjack plaid jacket (try Suzabelle's Windsor Trench in Cocoa/Crème or stick with the plaid look with Susan Farber's Lucca in Plaid Cocoa) over a black tank and coordinating boots (love Gwyneth Shoes' Remi Boot in Black), staying comfy for her flight in classic indigo skinnies (you can't go wrong with Serfontaine's Fox Straight Leg Jean in Neptune). Jess accessorized with the same brown suede tote she was spotted carrying in NYC (I love the embellished detail on the straps of Carla Mancini's Double Handle Large Bag in Taupe Suede) and of course the always essential super dark sunnies. What do you think of Jessica's cozy winter style? I don't think her hair looks particularly great here, but for those of you who are long time admirers of those classic blonde layers, pretty soon you'll be able to get the same look in under 30 seconds. Jessica's longtime hair stylist and BFF Ken Paves has announced he is launching a wig line called HairDo (love the name!) which will feature at least one style inspired by his leading lady's notorious tresses. The press release details, "The Long and Luscious Wig is known for its stylish look, comfortable design and heat technology. It features stretch bands in the back, a velvet-lined front hair line and added lace material to cover the crown part of the cap, not to mention an extremely comfortable design, complete with ear tabs, wefting in the back and an extended nape." Heat technology? As you can curl or straighten it? I might have to rethink my aversion to wigs with this new development! Are any of you open to trying out one of Jessica's new do's?
