Looking absolutely stunning in a gorgeous charcoal floor length gown, Jessica Alba attended the 5th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball with her husband, Cash Warren on Nov 13 in New York, NY. While gabbing with celebs from Alicia Keys to “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi, Jess channeled decades of the past with her crimson lips and extra long, thick fringe bangs. I have to say, I totally dig the new bangin’ look – do you agree? I also love, love loooove the vintage vibe of her gown, with its ornate gem and feather encrusted appliqué, hanging gold chains, and seductive backless style bringing it into the modern era (to recreate the look, pair an elegant dress like Ingwa Melero’s Elena Charmeuse Maxi Dress in Aubergine or Gold Hawk’s Aofe Long Dress in Moonrock with a long gold necklace such as Robyn Rhodes’ Grace Necklace in Gold). Accessorizing only with her glittering wedding ring and a wide gold cuff (check out Robyn Rhodes’ Vicki Cuff in Gold), Jess looked timelessly elegant in this sophisticated ‘fit, from head to toe. Besides spending a night out raising cash for the children’s AIDS charity, Jessica has been hard at work filming An Invisible Sign of My Own in New York and, rumor has it, planning an offical second wedding celebration with Cash. They tied the knot in May in a private ceremony (I suspect because she was 7 months avec child) and will host an official reception with their friends and family next month, just in time for the holidays. I can’t wait to see pictures of the custom made ivory and lace dress Jess has reportedly had designed by Chanel, to the tune of $47,000. That’s quite a gown!
