WATCH YOUR MOUTH, DADDY!

Happy to be back on the West coast, Ashlee Simpson heads out for a day of fun in the sun at a park in Sherman Oaks, CA on September 26. Ash and hubby Pete Wentz took baby Bronx for a ride on the swings and spent some time helping the little guy make sand castles, looking like quite the happy fam as they strolled around. Ash went for her trademark haute hippie look, pairing distressed flare jeans (like Denim of Virtue's Simplicity Flare in Vintage Blue) with a breezy white cami (try Woo's Rosey Top in White or Jenny Han's Slumber Cami in White) topped with a black floppy hat and black sandals (transition to fall in Farylrobin's Rambo Sandal in Black). Ashlee toted a black messenger bag with all of her mommy essentials (check out Linea Pelle's Perry Stud Small Messenger in Black), wearing classic black Wayfarers and a simple coin necklace to complete the look (try Maya Brenner's elegant Santorini Coin Necklace in Gold). What do you think of Ashlee's laidback style, does it work for her? I still think she needs to trim back those tangled tresses, but otherwise no one pulls off bell bottoms better than her. Looking at how big Bronx is in her arms, it's hard to believe it's been almost two years since the Wentzes became parents. Pete recently chatted with Us Weekly about how far he's come: "As a parent, I'm finally being able to get my mouth to behave itself as far as saying naughty words. He says everything!" Pete continued to share his amazement with the little man: "He's becoming a human being. It's so crazy to watch something that was a baby become something so animated, so smart and so personable." I would think it's strange for someone to refer to their toddler as "something that was a baby," but with rockstars anything goes, right?
