VMA DO-OVER?

As tempted as I was to crop those hideously awful disgunting boots out of this sighting, I didn't... but I do have to say, those things must be like the most comfortable shoes ever invented because otherwise I have no idea why Britney Spears would wear those in public. Or even in private for that matter. Barf! Looking happy and glowing, Britney stepped out at LAX on June 21 in a pretty little dress (check out Prarie New York's Mini Halter Dress in Coco Latice or Kelly Cushing's Mini Scarf Dress with Sash in Topkapi Print) with brown shades (like JeeVice Optics' Sassy Sunglasses in Brown Fade) and those aforementioned boots which I can't even talk about anymore. Just think how cute this look would have been with a pair of Loubs or even some killer gladiator sandals, but, sigh... I digress. While we all know that Britney's performance at last year's VMA's was one of the most talked about television performances of the year, it seems that the president of MTV Networks Music Group, Van Toffler, thinks that Brit should have another go at it this year. He said, "Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right? I'm not sure how we top Britney opening the show. We are working on it every minute of every day." Umm... how about having her open it again this year? Duh!
