VAGUELY VEGAN?

Gearing up to host SNL this week, Anne Hathaway prepped herself for live tv with her appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” in NYC on Sept 30. Looking absolutely radiant, Anne bravely battled a slew of questions about her scummy ex, even joking about how she “crashed and burned” earlier this summer after his arrest. She attributed her quick recovery to giving up cigs, booze and meat – calling herself “vaguely vegan” – which I suppose will give anyone’s skin a healthy glow! For her talk show gig, Anne wore a stunning navy dress (check out Gold Hawk’s Silk Satin Dress in Bijou Blue), with sheer black tights, sexy black pumps, and flashy teardrop earrings (like Kimberly Faith’s Triple Loop Earrings in Gold and Silver) complementing her sleek straightened locks. Before the show, Anne arrived outside the theater in chic black sunnies (like Nour’s Baba in Oro Bianco), flashing a dome bauble ring (similar to Michele Michel’s Adjustable Hammered Dome Ring in Silver) while carrying an irresistible woven black tote (check out Rough Roses' Soho Satchel in Black), pausing to sign a few autographs before continuing on her way in. Such a classy gal! To keep her from dwelling on the past, Anne says she’s been working hard promoting her career, and dabbling in politics on the side. A few weeks ago Anne took the time to gush to the press about her support for Obama, "He inspires us to be the best Americans we can be. And I think if he's president - when he's president, I should say - we're going to find people changing on the inside. And once we all have hope for the future, I think you're going to find everyone's going to wake up and take control of this amazing moment where there's so many things that need help, and people will all be inspired to help." I’m feeling inspired just from that little speech! Have you thought about running for office, Ms. Hathaway?
