Looking a little more hipster than usual, Diane Kruger made her way to MTV Studios for an appearance on “It’s On with Alexa Chung” on August 17 in NYC. While doing her interview, Alexa bestowed her fellow Twilight freak friend with a highly coveted gift basket with all sorts of goodies related to the flick. I'm not all that crazy about the vampire scene – how bad do you fans want to get your hands on the gifts pictured with Diane? Playing off a youthful vibe for the younger crowd, Di picked an Urban Outfitters ditsy floral dress with a high waist skinny belt (try pairing Cake Couture's Ikat Print Tank Dress in As Shown or Karen Zambos' Richie Dress in Red Cloud with a sleek skinny belt like Pellemelle's The Skinny Belt in Brown). Love the old fashioned full skirt with the n.d.c. Sunday boots – it balances the feminine look with a dash of edge, don't you think? A Diane Kruger 'fit wouldn't be complete without a touch of Chanel, and the model-turned-actress carried a cream quilted bag with a chain strap (get the femme look with Julie K's Gigi Mini Bag in Pewter). For the finishing touch Di pinned the front of her hair back and added a few curls for an easy, carefree style. I love that DK can go from uber glam one night to uber casual the next with hardly any effort. What do you think, is she workin' this? I never would have thought Alexa and Diane have similar taste, but as many fashion blogs are pointing out this week, they've actually worn the same pieces a few times in the past – Diane wore the white dress Alexa is wearing on the show only a few days prior! What do you think, is one of them a style copy-cat or does this just reveal they're friends off camera?
