For someone who has declared time and time again how much she hates flat shoes (she even wears towering stilettos to the airport!), Victoria Beckham sure has been doing more dressing down these past few days than we're used to seeing her do in an entire year! Maybe she's making 2010 the year of the flat sandal? In any event, Victoria was photographed picking her boys up from school and taking them for yogurt at Yogurtland in Sherman Oaks on January 11, sporting an incredibly casual outfit as she did so. It might just be me, but I LOVE seeing Victoria dress down like this. It makes me realize that she is human, because at times I think she is a glamorous robot! She started her look with a pair of slouchy, ripped up jeans (like We the People's Madison Jean in Distressed) and paired them with a black tank (I love the cropped length of Rough Roses' Park Crop Racerback Tank - perfect for spring), a black baseball cap, an armful of gold bangles (try Jules Smith's Drop It Bangles in Yellow Gold with CC Skye's Mini Spike Bracelet in Gold) and the aforementioned flip flops. A few days later on January 15, VB was seen heading into Blockbuster Video with her kids, allegedly renting Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and yet again looking oh-so-casual! The jeans and the sandals are back, only this time Vic substituted her black tank with a charcoal grey one (like Rails' Carly Tank in Grey) under a chocolate brown leather jacket (get the look with Mike & Chris' Harper Baseball Jacket in Black). She finished her look off with a different baseball cap and her drool-worthy taupe Hermes bag. What do you think of VB's looks here, do you prefer her all done up, or do you like seeing this way more casual side of Posh's style? For those of you who caught Victoria's appearance on "American Idol" last week, you may have been surprised to see that the singer showed her soft side quite a bit when giving feedback. Of the experience, she said: "I was really, really nervous. I didn’t want to trample on anybody’s dreams. I’m very much a positive person and I believe in positive energy. I can find something nice to say about most people. Even if they’re completely useless they may have a nice pair of shoes on." Hilarious!
