What is it about this girl and parking tickets? Hayden Panettiere let her meter run out while she was getting her hair colored in West Hollywood on Sept 16, becoming yet another unfortunate victim of LA’s Parking Enforcement. Those ticketers are merciless! Fortunately for HP, this incident took an interesting twist. Resident paps lingering outside the salon offered to add quarters to the meter for her when they saw the parking dude arrive, but to no avail. When HP returned to her Porsche Cayenne with yet another present waiting for her on the windshield, one of the paps who witnessed was so kind as to offer to pay the ticket for her. Where was this guy the last time I got a parking ticket in LA?? It’s not like Heroes isn’t bringing in enough cash for Hayden to pay off a $45 ticket! The nice guy made a little YouTube vid about the ordeal, showing himself writing the check and mailing it for her. Apparently he exercised the same generosity with Seinfeld awhile back. An unselfish, generous paparazzi? What is the world coming to! Despite earning her second ticket this summer, HP emerged from her stylist with rejuvenated blonde locks and a new set of razor sharp bangs, looking as fresh as her yellow maxi dress with Grecian style ties on the front (if you love the hue, try Ella Moss’ Piper Dress in Daisy). Keeping her look simple for the salon, HP wore her fav swirl cuff on one wrist and a slender chain bracelet on the other (try Michele Michel’s Swirl Bracelet in Silver and Jennifer Zeuner’s Vermeil Peace Rope Bracelet in Vermeil), with a dainty charm necklace around her neck (try Maya Brenner’s elegant Birthstone Ring Charm in Gold). I love that no matter how pricey her accessories are, like the purple Balenciaga fringed bag she’s carrying here, HP always makes her ‘fits age appropriate by adding elements like her treasured Rainbow flipflops. You can’t beat comfort!
