Continuing her colorful (well, at least by her terms) fashion streak, Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet of the London premiere on Salt in a sparkly gown in Leicester Square on August 16. Paying homage to the city, Ang picked a gown from British designer Amanda Wakeley, shimmering in the floor length frock with lilac accents at the shoulder and waist (lighten up at your end-of-summer soirees in Sue Wong’s Goddess Gown with Beading Detail in Beige or Sue Wong's Macrame Mermaid Maxi in White) paired with classic Ferragamo nude peep-toe pumps (display your elegant taste with Coye Nokes' Jacqueline D'Orsay in Gold Satin). Staying true to her demure style, Ang added sex appeal with her sexy new bangs and kept her accessories light with a simple amber cocktail ring (add a pop of color with Femme Metale's Carneilian Caged Gem Ring in Red), allowing her tattoos to peek out. What do you think of Angelina's red carpet taste, does it suit her? I wish the dress had a few less sparkles and a bit more shape, but as long as it isn't black I can't complain! Though Ang has repeatedly said she wants to retire from acting to focus on mommyhood, rumors are swirling that Angelina is being courted to play Marilyn Monroe in a big screen adaptation of the novel The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe, which chronicles Marilyn's last two years of life through the eyes of her dog. Interesting concept, I'll say! Nevertheless, when asked about her potential next role Angelina laughed: “I don’t know, it’s a rumor right now. You’ll probably know before me!” Better go barking up a different tree!
