Making an appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Think Like A Man at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on February 9, Jennifer Hudson struck a pose and waves for fans. For her premiere ensemble, J.Hud wore a Gucci Resort 2012 look that consisted of a simple white t-shirt (like Splendid's 1 x 1 Short Sleeve Scoop in White) that was paired with a beige and yellow pleated skirt (go for a neutral option with BB Dakota's Kaley Skirt in Sleet) and a pair of bold blue Giuseppe Zanotti heels. An oversized blue stone necklace (try Amy DiGregorio's Salt Pond Necklace in Powder Blue) and a wristful of bangles (check out Jessica Elliot's Open Clover Cuff in Silver) completed her outfit. What are your thoughts on Jennifer's outfit here, everyone - are you feeling these pieces paired with such bright blue accents? As I'm sure you've seen (or at least heard about), Jennifer performed a moving rendition of Whitney Houston's classic song "I Will Always Love You" at last night's Grammy Awards, and it seemed like there wasn't a dry eye in the house. There's no question that Jennifer did the song proud - did you tune in? In other Jennifer news, she spoke out to The Huffington Post recently about how she feels as though she's treated differently because of her weight loss. She says, "Oh definitely [I'm treated differently]. I always say you never understand unless youíve been on a journey like this. People are friendlier; there are more opportunities, more flexibility in so many different ways. I think itís messed up that people are so image-driven and your appearance affects the way people treat you. Itís crazy and it may be something we do subconsciously, but there it is." Very interesting, what's your take?

she is such an intelligent woman. While I am generally not a fan of matching shoes w/ accessories...I do like the paring of the shoes and necklace here. The spash of blue adds such an interseting touch. She
was wonderful at the Grammys. Loved her performance! Elegant and powerful.guest on Feb 13 2012 @ 01:22 PM
