Look who stepped out of the 1992 time machine! It's little Mary-Kate Olsen at the Radiohead concert at the Hollywood Bowl on August 25. In a pantless homage to 90's grunge, MKO picked an oversized flannel shirt (check out 3J Workshop's embroidered Canyon Country Hooded Shirt in Brown) with sandals and a black bag (similar to Lesa Wallace Handbags' Patent Leather Ricky Bag in Noir). Accessory wise, she stuck to the usual suspects: oversized rings (like Femme Metale's Rectangle Ring in Silver) and tons of bracelets (I love the pretty simplicity of Jewel by Bear's Amethyst Bracelet in Gold). Weren't your legs a little cold though, MK? I know that I have posted this Mary-Kate quote before, but I came across it again recently and thought that it might be relevant again today. When asked about what she would like to but can't due to the pressures of fame, MK replied, "I would love to be able to swim in the ocean in Malibu. But that is asking for a bikini shot. That’s inviting something that I don’t want to happen. I don’t need to be on a Who’s Skinny, Who’s Fat, Who’s Looking Healthy, Who’s Not Eating?’ list." While I do have the tendency to feel bad for her, a prisoner of her fame, on the other hand... she can go cry into her billions of dollars! But, we all know money doesn't buy happiness (temporary happiness, yes... but not deep down happiness), what are your thoughts on that quote?
