Oozing an aura of hair spray and caked makeup while leaving the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills on June 2, Christina Aguilera looked like she was up to something mysterious with a bottle of her perfume Xpose in one hand and her assistants following her out of the hotel with her luggage. Hmmm, wonder where she’s off to in that unflattering bustier-black pant combo? If you like the corset style of Christina’s top, try wearing sexy dress version like Black Halo’s Trapunto Sheath Dress in Black or Shumaq’s Marrisa Dress in Black, or if you’re a fan of black pants you can’t go wrong with Dylan George’s Double Knit Skinny Pants in Black. Christina wore a glitzy diamond ring on her left hand – either her wedding ring or something from close friend, jewelry designer Stephen Webster? Add something extra to your ‘fit with an elegant cocktail ring like Femme Metale’s Noble Fleur with Snow Quartz Ring in Silver without the designer price tag. As to her short hotel stay, Mamaguilera was assumed to be leaving a photo or film shoot for her new fragrance, looking a little fatigued while heading back to her car after only a few hours. Maybe she’s still recovering from her weekend in Las Vegas, where Mamaguilera hosted a party for Stephen Webster’s 2009 collection launch at TAO nightclub at the Venetian on May 29. At the party Christina talked to the press about her new recordings: “My last album had a vintage, retro, glam appeal. And this next album which I am almost finished and am about to release has a very modern sense about it… Futuristic in terms of looking into the future and giving it a new twist and a new sensibility.” Try to wrap your mind around that one!
