Taking the Big Apple in style, Jessica Simpson touched down in NYC on June 8 after an overnight flight and emerged from her hotel fresh faced in the morning. Showing off the gams she's worked so hard to tone, Jess picked a sexy black mini skirt (like Black Halo's High Waist Pleated Pocket Skirt in Black) with a tucked in white blouse and glitzy gold cropped jacket (tone it down with Suzabelle's Belleterre Cropped Jacket in Pewter), giving it the Simpson stamp with a pair of sky high platform heels. With a classy Chanel tote over her shoulder (opt for Carla Mancini's modestly priced Double Handle Bag in Black), Jess kept her accessories minimal with two identical gold bangles on each wrist (try personalizing Danielle Stevens' Single Engraved Bracelet in Gold to make it your own). What do you think of the look, and Jess's attempt to start a double-wristed trend? After getting settled in at her hotel, Jessica was spotted heading off to a midtown meeting, with a lot of speculation that she's trying to pitch the idea for her new reality show, "The Price of Beauty." I hope this isn't the case – she's not exactly looking her best here to be positioning herself as a credible host for a beauty show! In other Simpson news, it looks like things are still sailing smoothly with Jessica's football beau Tony Romo. When her man was recently asked what his idea of a dream date would be, he replied: "A little bite to eat and probably watch a football game! [Jess] loves the game. It’s exciting for both of us. I’ve found someone that I get to hang out with and who wants to see our team do well!" Sounds like Jess would be any guy's dream girl!
