THE LEGACY OF "THE HILLS"

Winding down on the final days of filming, Kristin Cavallari was photographed shooting a scene for the last episode of "The Hills" in LA on July 2, making sure to flash a smile to the photogs. For her ensemble, Kristin kept it summery a simple, pairing white denim shorts (try 7 for All Mankind's Roll Up Short in White) with a ¾ sleeve tee (similar to Splendid's 1x1 Vee Tee in Navy) and a pair of nude gladiator heels. For the rest of her look, KC piled on rings, bracelets and a chain necklace (check out CC Skye's Devin Necklace in Silver) while toting along a black handbag with gold hardware (similar to Julie K Handbags' Robin in Black). What are your thoughts on Kristin's look here, readers? I think I might like it a little more if she lightened up with a tan or nude handbag, instead of the heavy black. It would be more summery that way! In related Kristin news, she is speaking out about what kind of legacy she believes that "The Hills" will leave. Says KC, "What people really responded to was how beautifully it was shot. And the cameras they use [for the show] are the best, so it looks like a movie. I think they broke the mold for a lot of shows. So I think they'll be remembered as that [show]." That's definitely true - the cinematography for the shows was definitely unlike any other reality show at the time!
