The cure for her comeback?

First off, let's start with a little game of guess who, shall we? Is this billionaire twin fashionista Mary Kate Olsen? Nope. Tanorexic stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe? Try again. It's Ashlee Simpson silly, and man she really wants to be an Olsen, doesn't she! Spotted shopping on (where else?) Robertson Blvd. in Hollywood on November 18, it appears that Simpson might be taking baby steps to return to her previous rocker image. In a black scarf and True Religion jeans, Ashlee was also rockin' Tom Ford's new pair of Whitney sunglasses with a beat up old pair of Chuck Taylors. And we all know that Converse are the official sneaker of the punk rocker, so does this mean Ashlee will return to her (faux) punk roots?

Maybe, maybe not, but a musical comeback is definitely in Ash's near future. At the final performance of her role as Roxy Hart in Chicago, music legend Robert Smith of the Cure was in attendance, and Ashlee could barely contain herself. She says that "to work with Robert Smith would be an honor!," flirting with the idea that the two would be collaborating on a future record. Just make sure that Robert has actually agreed to work with you Ash, before you tell everyone that he is!
