Busy on a promotional tour for her new movie For Colored Girls, British actress Thandie Newton appeared Tim Palen’s Living Portraits opening night reception at the Lehmann Maupin Gallery in NYC with her castmates on October 24, and the following night she attended the premiere of the film at the Ziegfeld Theatre. For her first ensemble, Thandie wore a bright green dress (like Boulee's Dolores Tube Dress in Turquoise) under a vintage leopard print coat (try a modern trench like Walter's Khaki Flocked Trench in Multi), and accessorized with embellished heels and a layered necklace (get the look with one of Amrita Singh's stunners, like the Cheya Necklace in Gold or the Wisteria Hampton Necklace in Evergreen).
