TEXTING TIFF

Out for an afternoon stroll with her man in NYC on Sept 27, Cameron Diaz laughed it up as she enjoyed some couple time with her long distance lover. For her romantic get-away in the Big Apple, Cam wore a nautical striped tunic (if you like the look, try Guy Baxter’s Layla Top in Red/White) with cuffed bootcut jeans (like Hudson’s Signature Bootcut Jean in Joplin) and über conservative tan and black ballet flats. Keeping her look simple, Cam D toted an adorable white pocketbook (try Lesa Wallace’s Vegetable Tan Franko Bag in Moon) and added only a silver bauble ring (similar to Rachel Leigh’s Scripted Ring in Silver) to spice up her ‘fit. It’s well known that Cameron has been dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex, Paul Sculfor, for a couple of months now, but what’s interesting about their relationship is that friends say the couple has a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy when they’re not together. Makes sense when you’re both constantly traveling for your movie and modeling careers, right? But the interesting twist is that since Jen’s split from John Mayer, she’s reportedly been trying to get in touch with Paul, sending him a few friendly texts asking advice about getting around in his native London, escalating into more regular texting chats. Apparently Cam’s been spreading the word she is NOT happy about this… in fact she told friends Jen should “back off” and hopes she’ll get the hint by letting everyone know what’s going on! Is it just me, or does this sound a little too high school for these 30-somethings?
